Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR)
Assessing Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) through gas analysis is the gold standard assessment for measuring your metabolism at rest. This can be completed during an appointment with our exercise physiologist, if requested at time of booking.
Our team use this, along with activity levels, to understand daily energy expenditure. This can be helpful when undertaking a calorie-controlled diet, or your weight loss has reached a plateau.
Follow up appointments provide extra support, reassessment and re-evaluation of your goals. They can can also include personal training or exercise prescription, which can be undertaken at home, your current gym or one of their clinics across Adelaide.
