Power smoothies after bariatric surgery

Smoothies are great to eat on the go at any time of the year. You can pack in extra vitamins and minerals, and always remember to ensure there’s plenty of protein (protein powder is great for this). Spices such as cinnamon can also add an extra kick if you need it.

They’re a great option during the puree phase, just make sure you check with your dietitian about your personal dietary requirements.

To get you started, here’s some of our favourite smoothie recipes!
