Information for referring doctors
At AMOS we offer a multi-disciplinary team approach to weight loss. Our team consists of:
- Surgeons,
- Dietitians,
- Psychologists,
- Exercise Physiologists, and
- Bariatric Medical Practitioners.
A referral is required from a GP or other specialist to see our surgeons.
Referrals
Referrals should include:
- consultant name,
- patient details, including
- full name,
- address,
- date of birth and
- contact details,
- reason for referral,
- clinical history of the patient, and
- your details, including provider number.
Waiting times
We will try to fit a patient in as soon as possible, however waiting times may vary.
Fees
Gaps will apply for both consults and surgery, however we accept both insured and non-insured patients. The team will talk a patient through all the potential costs involved in their treatment.
