Appointment policy
An appointment will be required before you can see one of our specialists. In most cases you will require a referral from your GP or another specialist. This will allow you to receive a Medicare rebate for your visit. Without a valid referral, you will not receive a rebate and will have to pay for the full amount (see Fee Policy).
You should get your doctor to fax or email the referral to us.
Referrals
Referrals should include:
- consultant name,
- patient details, including full name, address, date of birth and contact details,
- reason for referral,
- clinical history of the patient, and
- referring doctor details and provider number.
