Chris Ftinogiannis
Exercise Physiologist

As a clinical exercise physiologist Chris is here to help you find the right form of exercise to reach your goals. All exercise programs are personally prescribed to achieve the best possible outcomes.

He commenced my career in 1998 at RAH’s Centre for Physical Activity in Aging, where he was responsible for cardiac and stroke rehabilitation, chronic disease management as well as developing multiple lifestyle intervention programs. In 2006 Chris moved into the private sector and helped establish AEP Health Group with Reuben Vanderzalm.

As a clinical exercise physiologist, he uses physical activity to assist with weight loss and improving the quality of life of the patients. Not one exercise program suits all, and it is Chris’ job to assist each patient to find the right program. He has also worked extensively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander persons in the establishment of health and lifestyles programs. In 2011 he was nominated for recognition of a non-Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person, for contribution to the community.
